William Abott Royce
William Abbott Royce
Identified on back of this picture as "William Abott Royce Father of Albert".
Which Albert? The group picture above states on its back "Albert Abott Royce father of Albert Pierce Royce". So the Senior Albert it seems.
Regarding spelling of "Abbott", on the back it is with a single b and on the front with two.
This picture on the back has the photographer as "P. Datesman" of Marshalltown, Iowa.

Notes: 1. Frank Siwiec has only taken some of the pictures physically out of the album pages in order to scan better or to check the backs.
So it is possible that more information is written on the backs.
2. Daisy Royce Hilliker June 4, 1886 - September 30, 1986 according to the Social Security Death Index as seen at the website Fairview Cemetary. Nancy says that her parents were both cremated and the pottery urns were placed in the same cemetary near the family gravestone. Fairview Cemetary has no records of this because it was never reported to the cemetary.
